History

Chemic Engineers was founded in 1977 by Harvey Cappel (bottom) and Jerry Hartenberger (top) in Texas City, Texas. This two man organization provided mechanical engineering services to the petrochemical industry. The firm has since grown into a full service consulting firm serving not only the petrochemical industry, but power generation, chemical, pharmaceutical, and refinery industries as well. Chemic serves a client list of over 100 companies, small and large, and is dedicated to its commitment of continuously improving quality.
