INSPECTION

CASE STUDY
In 2014 Zion Engineering was engaged on behalf of a Client by John Hall, the
Owner’s Representative and currently Manager of Projects for Chemic Engineers & Constructors. Zion designed two 10” gas pipelines spanning 4.5 miles of Wyoming mountains, averaging 7,500-foot elevation while crossing roads and other pipelines, avoiding existing hi-lines and routed through artesian springs.
After soliciting bids, the Owner’s Representative engaged a Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) construction contractor to install the pipeline as designed by Zion. Construction went smoothly without change orders, indicating quality engineering design.
