Chemic assigns a seasoned Project Manager that is responsible for all client assigned aspects of the management of a project. Single Management Responsibility requires that the project manager integrate the efforts of engineering, procurement and construction into a unified, coherent effort towards the successful completion of project assignments. It is critical for the project success that relationship with Chemic personnel and our customer’s personnel are built on trust.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

At Chemic, Project Scope is #1. Chemic defines Project Scope as the “The work that needs to be accomplished to deliver a product, service, or result with the specified features and functions within given budget and schedule restraints.” Chemic project managers ensure the project is planned, controlled, and closed. The planning process is when an attempt is made to capture and define the work that needs to be done within a target schedule. The controlling and monitoring processes focus on tracking costs, scope creep, disapproving/approving project changes, and managing/assessing schedule impact. Finally in closing, an audit of the project deliverables and an assessment of the outcomes against the original plan and lessons learned are performed.
